Welcome to Stand Walk Canter Veterinary Physiotherapy! I'm a qualified veterinary physiotherapist based in South Wales, serving Cardiff and the surrounding areas.
Animals have been at the centre of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up surrounded by dogs and horses, I spent my childhood riding, competing and caring for animals — and it was here that my fascination with how they move first took hold.
I went on to study Veterinary Physiotherapy at university, earning my degree and the clinical foundation to treat both small and large animals. My training combined anatomy, biomechanics and evidence-based rehabilitation with extensive practical, hands-on placements.
Since qualifying I've built up experience across a wide range of cases — from agility and working dogs to competition and leisure horses, post-surgical rehabilitation, neurological conditions and senior animals managing arthritis. Every case has deepened my belief that thoughtful, tailored physiotherapy can genuinely transform an animal's comfort and quality of life.
I'm RAMP registered and keep my knowledge current through ongoing professional development. My approach combines evidence-based manual therapy with modern electrotherapy, always working closely with your vet, farrier, saddler and other professionals to achieve the best possible outcome for your animal.
